It was in 1991 when PUMA introduced another gamechanger: The Disc System, PUMA"s first laceless sports shoes with a system of internal wires that tighten the upper for a perfect fit. This season we have used this archive inspired lacing system to create a new upper construction on our successful silhouette Wired Run. This lacing system makes tightening and loosening as easy as possible. The upper features a mesh base with synthetic leather overlays as well as a padded collar. Following the original Puma Wired Run the iconic PUMA branding was kept but moved to the heel area. Furthermore, you will find the Puma Disc sign off on the quarter overlay. The soft EVA midsole provides an organic look including an exaggerated topline and a thin rubber outsole.
